Process Developer for Optical Systems

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced process developer to lead and support development projects focused on handling and integrating highly sensitive optical components. In this role, you will research technical requirements, develop solution concepts, and analyze and evaluate potential hazards.

Your tasks include developing necessary processes and tools, as well as supporting their implementation. You will oversee the series production introduction of developed processes and ensure the handover to manufacturing. Furthermore, you will develop long-term improvement measures and solve technical problems in a goal-oriented manner. You will work in flat hierarchies and actively shape your professional and personal development.

For this position, you should have a very well-completed technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Industrial Engineering). You possess strong cooperation and communication skills in a high-tech environment, as well as experience in the development and commissioning of robotic assembly and precision joining systems. Sound knowledge in the development of in- and outbound process chains for large modules is required.

Interest in special machine construction and broad technological understanding round off your profile. You work in a structured and independent manner with a high degree of responsibility and reliability. Assertiveness in technical problem-solving and enjoyment of shared goals are important. Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, are required.

The workplace is located in Baden-Württemberg with a hybrid working model.
