Good day,

We are looking for a Consultant – Incident Response & IT Forensics:

Responsibilities

• Incident Management & Crisis Communication: You will manage security incidents holistically (on-site and remote), create playbooks with detailed action plans, and conceptually support crisis communication as well as recovery to normal operations.
• IT Forensics & Analysis: You will secure and analyze forensic data from hardware (end devices, servers, mobile devices, network components) as well as emails and files. You will also evaluate network, firewall, and system logs and create standardized result reports.
• Security Assessments: You will conceptualize and develop penetration tests for systems and web servers and professionally document the results.
• Cyber Resilience & Future Technologies: You will evaluate real attack scenarios on national networks, derive measures for detection and response, and analyze new threat potentials through AI and agentic AI.

Requirements

Framework Conditions:

• Incident Response & Forensics: Several years of experience in crisis management, live response, and forensic acquisition and analysis (host, network, log files).
• Tools & Frameworks: Confident use of common forensics and SIEM tools (e.g., FTK, EnCase, Splunk) as well as knowledge of IT security standards (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Pentesting & AI: Practical knowledge in the area of penetration testing (systems/web servers) as well as an understanding of modern cyber threats from (agentic) AI.
