Industrial Engineer Value Stream Planning & Lean Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Profile

• Optimization and stabilization of value streams – from raw material logistics to the finished robot system
• Product and process releases in series production and control of technical changes
• Analysis of production and work processes, identification of bottlenecks, and development of sustainable improvement measures
• Lean methods and value stream analyses to systematically reduce waste in material, information, and data flows and to continuously improve standards in the production system
• Introduction of new methods as well as robot-supported, automated manufacturing plants, including the necessary digitalization steps and IT processes (MES, data analysis)
• Material, information, and data flows, time studies, and layout analyses to derive stable standards
• Coordination of the creation and change management for product-related documents in manufacturing (e.g., FMEA, BOM, Control Plan, work instructions, etc.)
• Master's or Bachelor's degree with relevant professional experience in Industrial Engineering, Production Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics
• Sound experience in applying Lean methods as well as in value stream analysis and value stream design – including information and data flows – for continuous improvement and optimization of large-scale production of mechatronic products
• Very good fundamental understanding of manufacturing technology and industrial engineering methods; REFA or MTM certifications are an advantage
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
