Information Security Consultant

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Consultant for a full-time remote project.

In this role, you will act as an expert in information security and be responsible for the conception, implementation, and support of security measures according to current standards. Your tasks include the introduction and implementation of IT baseline protection guidelines, the execution of security needs analyses, and the creation of comprehensive security concepts. You will conduct risk analyses, support certification processes, and develop emergency preparedness and business continuity management concepts.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for supplier and third-party risk management as well as the execution of security assessments.

For this position, you bring sound knowledge in information security, particularly in the application of BSI standards and IT baseline protection methods. You have proven experience in conducting security needs analyses, creating security concepts, and implementing security measures. Your expertise extends to risk analyses according to BSI methodology, supporting certification processes, and developing emergency and BCM concepts. Knowledge of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to BSI standards is required.

Ideally, you have already conducted security assessments and have practical experience in risk management.
