Infrastructure & Cloud Security Lead

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Security Lead to take over a growing AWS cloud platform. In this role, you will take care of the core infrastructure, developer deployment environments, CI/CD pipelines, and the observability stack. At the same time, you will be responsible for cloud security, access control, network management, and controlling cloud expenses with growing service volume.

Your responsibilities include the administration of enterprise SaaS tools, infrastructure-as-code management with Terraform, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and implementing monitoring and observability solutions. You will implement AWS security fundamentals such as IAM, secrets management, and secure network architecture, and manage API gateways.

We expect senior SRE or Cloud Engineer experience with comprehensive practical AWS knowledge. Production experience with Kubernetes on EKS, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog, as well as FinOps and cloud cost management, are required. Ideally, you will bring experience with compliance requirements and modern development tools.

This is a flexible part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week) with a 100% remote possibility. The role is initially limited to three months and can be extended. Overlap with US time zones in the afternoon (CET) is required. The team is distributed across Europe and works in the technology and SaaS/AI industry.
