Technical Estimator (m/f/d) - Rail Industry

For our client in the rail vehicle sector, we are looking for a Technical Estimator (m/f/d) with experience in the technical environment as well as sound SAP and Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Calculation of brake systems, assemblies, and components based on technical drawings and SAP data
• Creation and maintenance of calculation models in Excel
• Creation and maintenance of material master data and planning data in SAP
• Expansion and updating of bills of materials
• Document management in SAP (offers, order confirmations, technical documents)
• Checking invoices for price, quantity, and order deviations
• Verification of order confirmations for consistency with inquiries and order specifications
• Tracking of missing parts and active communication with suppliers
• Support in optimizing procurement and calculation processes

Requirements

• Completed further training as a technician (m/f/d) or completed studies in a technical field or business administration
• At least 2 years of professional experience in technical costing
• Very good knowledge of SAP, ideally SAP-P22
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong technical understanding and structured way of working
• Fluent German and good English skills
• Exciting project environment in the rail industry
