• Support the Head of Accounting in operational day-to-day business as well as in technical questions within the finance organization
• Co-responsibility for the accounting of European companies, including operational involvement in day-to-day business
• Take on an active hands-on role in financial accounting, including booking activities as needed
• Key user for accounting processes in SAP S/4HANA and close cooperation with the local finance teams of the European companies
• Support in the further development and harmonization of accounting processes within the group-wide SAP S/4HANA landscape
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local accounting regulations and group standards
• Operational and technical contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and tax authorities
• Identification and implementation of optimization measures in the accounting environment
• Participation in finance and ERP-related projects
• Sound knowledge of international accounting and financial statement preparation
• Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ideally as a Key User or in the context of ERP transformation projects
• Hands-on mentality with the willingness to take on both strategic and operational tasks
• Experience in process optimization and standardization of accounting processes
• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor at all hierarchical levels
• Fluent German and English skills
