Project Context:
Our client in the healthcare sector is planning the modernization and redesign of its existing Citrix landscape. The current environment, based on Windows Server 2019, is to be replaced by a new, future-proof platform based on Windows Server 2025. As part of this infrastructure project, the existing provisioning method of Machine Creation Services (MCS) will be switched to Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS).
Special focus is placed on building a highly available Citrix architecture and largely decoupling it from the current VMware hypervisor to enable future platform changes (e.g., Hyper-V or HPE VM Essentials) with minimal migration effort.
