Job description
Seeking an interim Claims Manager to oversee and manage operational claims, handle complex cases, and optimize existing processes. The role requires extensive experience in credit and collections, with a focus on legal and insolvency proceedings.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for an interim Claims Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Operationally manage and control claims management, monitor and process open claims
- Handle and resolve complex and disputed claims cases
- Manage installment payments as well as collection, insolvency, and, if applicable, judicial dunning proceedings
- Analyze existing claims processes and identify optimization potential
- Coordinate with accounting, billing, customer service, and other departments
- Coordinate and manage external collection agencies and/or lawyers
- Monitor and report relevant claims key figures.
- Monitoring and processing of open claims as well as execution of the dunning system
- Processing and clarification of complex or disputed claims cases
- Management of installment payments, collection, insolvency, and, if applicable, judicial dunning proceedings
- Further development of dunning and escalation processes
- Collaboration and management of external collection agencies or lawyers
- Monitoring and reporting of relevant claims key figures

- Several years of experience in operational claims management or Credit & Collections
- Sound knowledge of dunning and collection systems as well as in handling complex claims cases
- Experience with insolvency proceedings
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing claims processes
- Independent and structured way of working, as well as strong communication and assertiveness skills
- Experience with insolvency and ideally judicial dunning proceedings
