As part of an extensive renovation project at a hospital in the Kassel region, an experienced interim construction manager for electrical engineering is sought. The demanding project spans 4 years with an option for extension and requires in-depth expertise in electrical construction execution within the healthcare sector.
The assignment involves a flexible work model with 3-4 days per week on-site. Special knowledge in cleanroom or operating room technology is not required, but solid knowledge of construction law and change order management is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Management and coordination of all electrical trades during the hospital renovation
- Construction execution management, considering the special requirements in the healthcare sector
- Comprehensive cost and schedule management for electrical project areas
- Construction supervision and quality assurance according to VOB and relevant standards
- Processing and evaluation of change orders in the electrical field
- Coordination with clients, specialist planners, and executing companies
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification as an Electrical Engineering Master Craftsman
- Several years of professional experience as a construction manager in electrical engineering, ideally in building construction
- In-depth knowledge of construction law and VOB/A, VOB/B, and VOB/C
- Experience in change order management and construction billing
- Confident use of MS Office and industry-standard construction software
- Flexibility and resilience for deployment during ongoing hospital operations
