Interim Construction Manager

Project overview

As part of a demanding industrial construction project in the Passau region, an experienced freelance construction manager is sought for the end of October/beginning of November 2026. The project requires competent on-site project management with comprehensive coordination responsibility for all involved trades and subcontractors.

The assignment offers the opportunity to lead a complex industrial construction project independently and to utilize many years of expertise in a dynamic environment. An extension option beyond the initial term is planned.

Responsibilities

• Independent construction management and coordination of all construction work on-site
• Management and supervision of executing trades and subcontractors
• Monitoring of deadlines, quality, and budget of the project
• Conducting and moderating construction meetings with all project participants
• Monitoring compliance with occupational safety and quality specifications
• Documentation of construction progress and support with acceptance procedures

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience as a construction manager, ideally in industrial or commercial construction
• Sound knowledge in the coordination and management of complex construction projects
• Confident demeanor towards clients, subcontractors, and project participants
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills
• Willingness for a long-term assignment in the Passau area
