INTERIM Consultant SAP Migration

Project overview

Dear Sir or Madam,

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced interim consultant for a SAP migration project in the finance sector. You will act as a functional advisor and liaison between local finance teams, the IT/SAP project team, and an international group finance function.

Responsibilities

• Functional/process support for the finance team as advisory support (no independent business ownership)
• Close collaboration with the SAP project team and the international group finance function
• Support of SAP Finance modules (FI/CO, Creditors/Debtors, AP/AR, GL): Mapping, Testing, functional acceptance
• Support of adjacent processes: Controlling, Reporting, Intercompany Billing
• Data quality check and data preparation (no technical data migration)
• Stakeholder management and communication between the local team, IT project team, and international headquarters

• DATEV to SAP Migration Experience: Proven expertise in scenarios with multiple companies consolidated in DATEV and poor data quality (e.g., AR aging problems). You have successfully cleaned up and prepared such data situations
• International Experience: Proven expertise in German-Italian group rollouts; experience in migrating national subsidiaries into existing group SAP systems
• SAP Finance Module Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge in FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-GL; SAP S/4HANA 2025 is an advantage
• Group Structures: Experience with group governance and best practice mappings from local to central structures
• Industry Experience: Ideally, experience in companies with recurring revenue models (MRR/ARR) and long-term customer contracts, preferably in the cloud/hosting environment
