Interim Controller Social Domain (detach.)

Project overview

As an interim controller, you will support and advise management within the social domain of a municipal organization.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Advising on financial and business economic issues to management and board
• Analyzing and monitoring budgets, financial developments, and management reports
• Participating in the planning and control cycle, such as budgets, interim reports, and the annual accounts
• Identifying and reducing financial risks within the social domain
• Assessing council and executive proposals for their financial implications
• Performing legality checks and strengthening internal controls
• Ensuring the reliability of financial data for accounting audits and SiSa reporting
• Identifying and implementing improvements in financial and administrative processes
• Financially oriented HBO education, preferably completed at WO level
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the last 10 years in the role of financial advisor or controller at a municipality or municipal cooperation organization
• Demonstrable minimum 3 years of experience in the role of financial advisor or controller within the social domain
• Experience in setting up and monitoring the municipal P&C cycle
• Experience in preparing budgets and annual accounts is a plus
• Experience in making financial analyses, management reports, and monitoring budgets
