Project overview

For an internationally organized production site in the heart of the Black Forest, we are looking for an experienced controlling expert to take over a vacant key role until long-term replacement.

Responsibilities

• Creation, validation, and analysis of monthly group reporting
• Analysis and monitoring of key financial figures (e.g., P&L, margins, cash flow, and working capital)
• Support with budget planning and creation of forecasts in close coordination with the departments
• Critical review of financial assumptions, models, and planning bases
• Execution of target-actual comparisons, variance analyses, and development of suitable recommendations for action
• Responsibility for financial and cost accounting as well as ensuring a meaningful database
• Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS

• Confident knowledge of SAP (SAP R3) and MS Office as well as good knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Fluent German and English in spoken and written form
• Knowledge from the chemical/pharmaceutical sector not essential but advantageous

• Support in the professional leadership and further development of the existing controlling/finance team
• Analysis, optimization, and further development of existing finance processes, reporting structures, and internal control mechanisms
