Project overview

For our client from the financial industry in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for a freelance Senior AI Trainer & Consultant (gn) to support 1-3 employees with no or little AI experience in building AI competencies and to accompany the practical integration of AI technologies into daily work.

Profile

• Project Start: 15.11.2026
• Project End: 30.03.2027
• Utilization: Full-time (40 hrs./week)
• Location: Frankfurt am Main (hybrid, 2 days on-site per week)
• Conducting individual competency assessments to determine the level of AI knowledge and identify development needs.
• Creating a structured training concept including learning objectives, milestones, and measurable KPIs.
• Teaching AI fundamentals, Machine Learning, Prompt Engineering, and relevant application possibilities.
• Conducting practical training on the application of suitable AI tools in daily work.
• Accompanying employees through shadowing and re-shadowing to sustainably consolidate acquired competencies.
• Implementing a train-the-trainer approach for internal knowledge transfer.
• Advising on AI application possibilities, suitable tools, and their integration into existing work processes.
• Documenting training measures and regularly reporting on learning progress.

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of professional experience as an AI Trainer, AI Consultant, or in a comparable position.
• Profound knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Prompt Engineering, and common AI tools.
• Experience in designing and conducting training measures and strong didactic skills.
• Practical experience with agile methods and Scrum.
• Experience in the financial industry (banks, insurance companies, or FinTech) and understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Fluent German and good English skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Empathy and patience when dealing with AI beginners.
• Independent, structured way of working and high consulting competence.

Nice to have

• Knowledge in Business Analysis, Requirements Analysis, and Process Modeling.
• Basic knowledge of Python and APIs.
• AI and/or Scrum certifications (e.g., Google AI, Microsoft AI, AWS, PSM or CSM).
