- Management Accountant in Wakefield.
- Hybrid working.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Month-end close activities including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Producing financial reports and supporting commentary for stakeholders
- Supporting cashflow reporting and forecasting
- Business partnering with operational teams across the business
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies
- Supporting ad-hoc finance projects as required
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience
- Previous experience within a Management Accountant role
- Strong month-end accounting experience
- Confident working with large volumes of data and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- 3-6 month interim assignment.
- Opportunity to gain valuable experience in the transport and distribution industry.
