Interim Manager Ambulance Service (contract)

Project overview

As an interim manager, you will manage one or more ambulance stations within Ambulance Care Gelderland-South.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing a team of professionals in ambulance care
• Guiding employees in a dynamic and changing work environment
• Managing personnel issues such as absenteeism, development, and employability
• Monitoring the quality, continuity, and efficiency of service delivery
• Advising management and the board on operational and tactical issues
• Coordinating with internal and external partners within the acute care chain
• Improving processes and contributing to the further development of the organization
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, gained in the last 10 years, as an integral manager in the healthcare sector
• Diploma at a minimum HBO bachelor level
• Available from November 1, 2026, at the latest, for an average of 32 to 36 hours per week for the full assignment
• Knowledge of ambulance care and/or healthcare organizations in the Gelderland-South region (preferred)
• Work experience with safety regions and/or regional healthcare networks (desired)
• Experience in collaboration with chain partners in acute care (preferred)
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an integral manager in the healthcare sector (preferred)
