To support an ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative, we are currently looking for an experienced freelance Senior SAP FI Migration Consultant with a focus on migrating financial data from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

• Consulting on the planning, conception, and execution of SAP FI data migrations within an S/4HANA transformation.
• Analysis and evaluation of existing financial data structures in SAP ECC.
• Conception of migration scenarios for master and transactional data in the SAP FI environment.
• Definition and coordination of data mapping concepts and ensuring data consistency.
• Execution and support of data extraction, transformation, and data validation.
• Planning and execution of test migrations and support during productive data takeovers.
• Analysis and resolution of errors in the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (DMC).
• Execution of cleansing, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
• Ensuring the complete and correct transfer of financial data.
• Coordination with business departments and adjacent SAP modules during the migration.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an SAP FI Consultant in complex SAP landscapes.
• Profound knowledge in SAP FI (FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP, and FI-AA).
• Very good integration knowledge in adjacent modules such as CO, MM, SD, and PS.
• Comprehensive experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Demonstrable project experience in migrating financial data from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in migrating master and transactional data such as G/L accounts, business partners, assets, open items, balances, and financial documents.
• In-depth know-how in data mapping and data quality.
• Profound knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (DMC).
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, test migrations, and productive go-lives.
• Strong problem-solving skills in migration and data consistency issues.
• Experience with large data volumes and complex financial structures.
