for a client in the SAP environment, we are looking for an experienced interim SAP OpenText VIM Consultant / Developer (m/f/d) for the further development and optimization of an existing invoice management solution based on OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and SAP S/4HANA.

• Start: 26.10.2026
• Duration: 31.01.2027
• Utilization: 3 days per week (approx. 24 hours)
• Location: Hybrid (approx. 2 days per week on-site in Berlin, also possible in blocks)
• Project Language: German and English
• Contract Type: Freelance / Project Business
• Analysis of existing invoice management processes and system landscapes
• Identification and conception of optimization and digitalization measures
• Customizing and configuration of OpenText VIM
• Implementation of technical extensions and individual adjustments
• Development and optimization of SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP OO
• Implementation and adaptation of SAP Fiori applications based on SAPUI5 and OData Services
• Consulting on the integration of new functions and requirements into the existing SAP architecture
• Execution of functional, integration, and acceptance tests together with the business departments
• Creation of technical and functional documentation
• Analysis and resolution of errors and disruptions within the invoice management processes
• Processing of audit and revision findings in the OpenText VIM environment
• Derivation of suitable correction and optimization measures
• Implementation and validation of the identified improvements
• Support in tracking and closing audit and revision points
• Coordination with business departments, IT, and relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) environment
• Several years of experience in the SAP FI environment, ideally within SAP S/4HANA
• Profound knowledge in:
• SAP FI
• SAP Business Workflow
• OpenText VIM
• Very good development skills in:
• ABAP
• ABAP OO
• cross-module SAP developments
• Experience with:
• SAP Fiori
• SAPUI5
• OData Services
• Experience in optimizing and further developing SAP applications according to Clean Code principles
• Good understanding of SAP architectures and integration scenarios
• Experience in analysis, error resolution, and troubleshooting of complex SAP processes
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
