Interim Search is looking for an Interim Senior Business Controller for a publicly listed company. The role involves being part of a business area's management team and acting as a strategic and operational financial partner.

Interim Search has been entrusted to appoint an Interim Senior Business Controller for a publicly listed company with a turnover of approximately SEK 2.5 billion. In this role, you will be part of the management team for a specific business area and work closely with central functions.

The assignment starts at the beginning of December and is expected to last for approximately 6 months. We will present candidates to the client in week 45 with subsequent interviews at the client's premises in week 46.

- Take a seat in the business area's management team as a strategic and operational financial partner to the Business Area Manager and other functional leaders. The role has no direct reports.
- As the budget process is in its final phase at the start of the assignment, the main focus will be on ongoing follow-up of P&L, deviations, and functional budget compliance.
- Act as a sounding board and support the functions (both commercial and industrial) in their financial management.
- Focus particularly on capital tied up in inventory and the follow-up and analysis of machinery investments and production-related CAPEX decisions.
- Work closely with the central finance department.
- Solid background as a Business Controller, Senior Financial Controller, or equivalent within the manufacturing/production industry.
- Very strong understanding of P&L responsibility, functional budgets, inventory/capital tied up, and investment calculations.
- Experience from being in a management team, working closely with operations, and communicating financial data.
- Self-driven, pragmatic, and relationship-building with the ability to quickly understand complex processes.
- Possibility to work from Stockholm or Dalarna (flexibility for placement at the company's production facility or head office).
