• Conception, creation, and execution of tests for embedded software at unit, integration, and system level
• Execution of software tests on target hardware and in simulation environments
• Planning, implementation, and integration of automated testing procedures, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tests
• Analysis, documentation, and tracking of errors until successful resolution
• Execution of risk analyses as a basis for product releases
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in the development process
• Further development of test frameworks, test tools, and test processes
• Support of software development through early consideration of test-relevant requirements
• Close collaboration with software developers, architects, and project teams
• Several years of practical experience in testing embedded software
• Experience in test automation of embedded systems
• Good knowledge of Python required
• Experience with Git must have
• Knowledge of C/C++
• Understanding of microcontrollers, hardware-near software development, drivers, and real-time systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD)
• Knowledge of test frameworks such as gtest, pytest, Robot Framework, or comparable solutions
• Structured and analytical working method with a strong hands-on mentality
• Very good German skills and good English skills
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
• Experience in regulated development environments or safety-critical systems
