For the further development of a networked access and payment terminal system at around 600 locations, we are looking for a Technical Product Owner / Technical Project Manager. The role includes technical responsibility for integration projects as well as the management of changes, releases, and further developments in close cooperation with the internal Product Owner.

Job Description
- Start: From November 2026
- Duration: Until the end of 2026 (approx. 20 PT), extension for 2027 planned
- Workload: 20 hours/week or approx. 20 PT in 2026
- Location: Hybrid (approx. 90% remote), approx. 2 working days per month on-site in Bonn
Responsibilities
Profile
- Management of the integration of a new generation of card terminals, including hardware conversion and GUI adjustments
- Coordination of hardware general contractors and software service providers
- Recording, evaluation, and formulation of technical requirements, user stories, and change requests
- Maintenance and prioritization of the backlog
- Accompanying software releases, including tests and documentation
- Implementation of technical improvements to increase system transparency
Requirements
- Good understanding of Linux or embedded systems as well as scripting (Python, Bash)
- Basic understanding of networked hardware, mechanics, and electrics
- Experience with technical user stories, change requests, and release management
- Structured management of external manufacturers and development service providers
- Hands-on mentality, including tests on laboratory and test systems
