IT Application Architect Linux

Project overview

IT application architecture mission, based in Massy with occasional travel to other sites in the electronic defense sector. Start date planned for January 2027 (exact date to be confirmed).

As part of the development of French and international solutions, the application architect will be involved in the technical design of solutions consistent with the client's information system and standards. The mission focuses on the upper layers of the OSI model, producing input specifications for network, server, and storage architects.

Work organization: 3 days on-site in Massy and 2 days of remote work per week.

Profile sought

Expert profile with over 7 years of experience as an application architect. C1 level English required (bilingual French/English technical documentation).

• Design the technical application architecture for French and international solutions
• Analyze urban planning, security, and functional requirements
• Define qualification and pre-production environments
• Define 2-tier, 3-tier, or thick client architectures, integrating availability, security, and scalability concerns
• Justify the choice of physical, virtual, VMware, and middleware components, as well as licensing aspects
• Work on IAM, authentication, access management, and directory topics
• Oversee backup, SLM, and scheduling aspects
• Cover storage, virtualization, systems, and network security topics
• Work on SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory, Red Hat IDM, and OpenShift environments
• Produce HLD/LLD documents, reports, audits, and diagnostics
• Write technical documentation in French and English
• Coordinate work with IT, network, server, and storage teams
• Weekly report due Friday at 12 PM
• Ad-hoc reports within 5 working days
