Experienced IT Application Manager Java sought to manage and develop Java-based enterprise applications throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities include analysis, design, implementation, coordination with partners, release management, and documentation.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Application Manager Java to manage and further develop Java-based enterprise applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our software solutions.
Your tasks include the analysis, conception, and implementation of new software requirements, as well as the creation of technical solution designs and effort estimations. You will coordinate and manage internal and external development partners and oversee the planning and execution of software releases. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the seamless integration of new solutions into the existing IT system landscape and create corresponding technical documentation.
For this position, you should have completed training in computer science or business informatics. You have practical experience in Java development and are familiar with modern web technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge of databases and SQL (Oracle or MS SQL Server) is required. You work confidently with version control systems like Git and are proficient in using project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
Understanding of agile development methodologies, especially Scrum, is essential. Your communication skills in German and English are fluent, and you show willingness for occasional international travel.
The workplace is located in Graz and is designed as hybrid, allowing you flexibility in your work arrangements.
