Framework Conditions

For a demanding IT and technology environment, we are looking for an experienced IT Architect (m/f/d) who will take overall technical responsibility for complex programs and IT projects. The focus is on strategic consulting, the development of future-proof IT architectures, and technical support for demanding transformation and innovation projects.

• Start: January 2027
• Utilization: Full-time
• Remote share: 90%, Onsite approx. 10%, occasional assignments in Bonn, Munich, or Berlin
• Duration: 6 months + extension option

Responsibilities

• Strategic and technical consulting for clients and project managers
• Taking overall technical responsibility for complex IT programs and projects
• Conception and further development of target architectures and technology roadmaps
• Evaluation of existing IT landscapes and identification of optimization and modernization potentials
• Functional leadership and coordination of architecture and expert teams
• Support in tenders, offer processes, and innovation projects
• Coordination of technical architecture decisions with relevant stakeholders

• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrable experience in senior IT architecture or consulting roles
• In-depth understanding of modern software, IoT, and system landscapes
• Sound experience with enterprise architectures and complex transformation projects
• Experience in the functional leadership of architecture and expert teams
• Strong presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in the environment of public clients, KRITIS, or industrial projects is an advantage
• Valid security clearance SÜ2 required
