Project overview

For a demanding IT project, an experienced IT Business Analyst is sought to act as the central interface between business departments and technical teams. The focus is on analyzing, structuring, and specifying requirements and supporting their implementation in an agile environment.

• Gathering, analyzing, and structuring business and technical requirements in close coordination with business departments and IT
• Translating business requirements into understandable specifications for development and implementation teams
• Identifying, evaluating, and documenting business processes, system requirements, and interfaces
• Developing and coordinating business concepts, user stories, and requirement specifications
• Supporting the prioritization of requirements and the planning of implementation measures
• Collaborating with software developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation
• Analyzing the impact of new requirements on existing applications and processes
• Creating and maintaining process models, documentation, and decision papers
• Supporting testing, acceptance, and quality assurance measures
• Acting as the business contact between business and IT throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Several years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a comparable role
• Experience in analyzing and documenting business requirements in IT projects
• Very good understanding of software development processes and IT system landscapes
• Experience in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
• Confident use of Jira, Confluence, and comparable tools
• Experience in collaborating with business departments, development, and architecture
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Experience in the finance, insurance, or regulated sector
• Knowledge in requirements engineering or corresponding certifications (e.g., CPRE)
• Experience with process modeling (BPMN, UML or similar)
• Understanding of data models, interfaces, and integration scenarios
• Experience in project or product management
