Assignment Description

We are looking for a highly experienced IT management lead for a large public organization in Stockholm. The assignment is long-term and includes management, further development, and delivery management within digital workplace, identity and access management (IAM), and system integration.

The organization is undertaking a comprehensive modernization and procurement program for the next generation of common IT services. The program includes computers, tablets, printing services, device management, service desk, and other central IT services used by the organization's employees and operations.

In connection with this, regular key personnel need to allocate time to the project organization. The assignment therefore involves relieving the existing management organization and ensuring continuity, quality, and progress in ongoing IT work.

You will collaborate with object managers, system owners, security functions, business representatives, and external suppliers. The role combines strategic understanding with operational coordination and requires both solid management competence and deep technical understanding.

You will participate in the design and implementation of a new Active Directory structure and coordinate the establishment of management for Entra ID. You will also coordinate dialogue, delivery management, and change management within digital workplace and IAM, lead activities related to new storage solutions including migration, integrations, testing, and verification, and coordinate device management, software packaging, and integrations with Microsoft Office and business systems.

The role also includes collaboration between business, IT, security functions, and external suppliers, as well as planning, prioritizing, and following up on management activities based on business needs.

Requirements

Meritorious

• You have broad and documented knowledge in delivery management and broad and deep technical competence in digital workplace, identity and access management, and system integration.
• You have at least 15 years of documented experience in IT management with a focus on IT. The experience includes leading, coordinating, and developing management activities and ensuring that business needs are translated into appropriate IT deliveries.
• You have at least ten years of experience as a technical architect or technical lead in complex IT environments with multiple suppliers, including assignments in the public sector, as well as documented ability to translate business needs and decided priorities into planned, executed, and verified activities. The experience includes requirements management, change management, and collaboration with business representatives, system owners, security functions, and suppliers.
• You have documented experience in designing and implementing AD structures, working with Entra ID, and establishing management for technical platforms and services.
• You have documented experience in implementing and verifying storage and document management solutions, including export, import, and integrations with local and central business systems. The experience also includes managing technical dependencies between storage, identity, access, and connected systems.
• You have documented experience in device management and coordination of testing and verification of software packaging, add-ons, and plugins, including integrations with Microsoft Office and business systems such as the city's document management system (e-dok).
• You have documented experience in developing, implementing, or further developing delivery models for cloud services. The experience should include governance, role distribution, collaboration between business and IT, and follow-up of deliveries in a cloud-based environment.
• You have documented experience with municipal operations, organization, working methods, and governance models. The competence should contribute to an efficient introduction and a short ramp-up time in the assignment.
