Project overview

• Development and further development of IT architectures and technical solution designs for complex network and infrastructure environments
• Conception and implementation of extensions, changes, and optimizations of existing IT infrastructures
• Planning and control of technical work packages, milestones, and infrastructure projects
• Creation and further development of technical, platform-specific concepts and solution descriptions
• Planning and implementation of changes to network and infrastructure components
• Creation of technical configurations and parameterizations as well as support for the commissioning of physical and virtual systems
• Participation in the planning and implementation of network changes and infrastructure projects
• Creation and maintenance of network and infrastructure documentation
• Creation of work, operating, and procedural instructions
• Coordination of technical solutions with internal and external project and operations teams
• Consideration of applicable requirements for information security, data protection, operations, and technical standards

ITIL Foundation v.4 - Certification valid certificate

Certifications:

Project Management ICB (IPMA) Level D (or equivalent, e.g., PMBOK (PMI) CAPM, PRINCE2 Practitioner)

Languages:

Very good German skills (C1) and good English skills (B1)

• Several years of professional experience in the planning and conception of network, infrastructure, and security architectures based on BSI-Grundschutz at least VS-NfD and PersDatSB2 for 5 years
• Experience with modern network architectures, network technologies, and secure network access (broadband network)
• Experience with network protocols and technologies for optimizing and securing data traffic
• Experience in creating and interpreting network and infrastructure topologies
• Experience in planning, introducing, and operating IT infrastructures in complex corporate environments
• Experience in planning and implementing infrastructure changes, extensions, and consolidations
• Experience in creating and further developing technical concepts, guidelines, work instructions, and operational documentation
• Profound knowledge in handling network and security components from renowned manufacturers such as Cisco, Citrix, Checkpoint, Fortinet
• Experience in basic configuration, commissioning, decommissioning, as well as modification and optimization of network and security systems
• Experience in complex, highly available, and security-critical IT infrastructures
• Knowledge of established standards and methods in the field of information security
• Experience in technical project management
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Good communication and documentation skills
