IT Program Director – Digitalization of R&D Laboratories (GxP) (M/F)

Project overview

For one of our clients, an international pharmaceutical laboratory, we are looking for an IT Program Director. Its R&D laboratories are entering a modernization and digitalization program: laboratory processes, data, and tools are being rethought, within a GxP environment.

Working in tandem with a business program director, you will lead the IT part of the program. The position also includes a strong procurement component, as you will manage tenders from start to finish.

Your missions:

Manage the program's schedule, resources, budget, and quality.

Conduct tenders, from writing the specifications to commercial and legal negotiation.

Manage the selected software vendors and integrators.

Coordinate the R&D, data, and IT departments.

Practical information:

Contract: Permanent, Freelance, or payroll management.

Start date: December 1, 2026, for 6 renewable months.

Project details

Suresnes and Saclay, with partial remote work.

Languages: Excellent French and English.

Profile sought

You are a very senior program director, with about 15 years of experience.

You have already managed a major international IT program.

You have experience in pharmaceutical R&D and are familiar with the GxP environment, as well as laboratory tools such as LIMS or ELNs.

You have managed software vendors and integrators and conducted tenders up to negotiation.

Integration experience with SAP, Oracle, or another ERP is a plus.

You master Agile and Prince2 methodologies, as well as MS Project and Jira tools.

You have leadership and strategic vision, and you know how to unite people in a multicultural environment.

You speak French and English at an excellent level.
