For a project in the banking and financial services sector, we are looking for an experienced IT Project/Delivery Manager to support the implementation of modern risk management solutions. You will lead small to medium-sized projects and agile deliveries, ensuring regulatory compliance, reliable risk data, and digital transformation in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify key stakeholders and clarify roles, responsibilities, and scope in collaboration with Business/Product Owners.
• Support Business/Product Owners in defining scope, timeline, and prioritizing objectives.
• Manage stakeholders, including senior management, and deliver results on time, within budget, and to high quality.
• Build project planning and controlling with a focus on critical path management and resource allocation.
• Manage project risks, issues, changes, dependencies, and internal/external IT solution providers.
• Act as a servant leader and trusted advisor for managers and teams in corporate and IT areas.

Requirements

Framework Conditions:

• University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Minimum of three years of experience in end-to-end project management in preventive and agile environments.
• Professional experience in Banking, IT, Telecommunications, or Insurance is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, analytical, process-oriented, and solution-oriented skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including conflict resolution.
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
• German or a Central European language is advantageous.
• Scrum Master or Product Owner certification, as well as knowledge of agile toolkits, are advantageous.
• Hybrid work model with 1 day on-site per week in Vienna, Austria.
• Focus on regulatory compliance and reliable risk management data.
• Experience with agile delivery methods and tools is relevant.
