An experienced IT Project Manager (m/f/d) is sought for an ongoing IT transformation and security program. The project's subject is the planning, coordination, and management of measures for the further development of information security, as well as the support of technical and organizational security initiatives.

The role includes collaboration with various departments, IT teams, and external partners, as well as ensuring the structured implementation of defined measures within a complex project environment.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and management of IT security projects and cross-project work packages
• Planning, monitoring, and controlling project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies
• Coordination of various stakeholders as well as internal and external project participants
• Support in the conception, implementation, and follow-up of information security measures
• Preparation and execution of status and management reporting
• Ensuring transparent project communication to relevant decision-making bodies
• Support for regulatory, audit-relevant, and governance-related requirements in the project context
• Support in prioritizing and implementing security-related measures

Framework Conditions

• Several years of experience in managing complex IT projects, ideally in the field of information security or IT infrastructure
• Sound understanding of modern IT landscapes, cloud technologies, and IT security concepts
• Experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Vulnerability Management
• Patch Management
• Security Operations
• Cloud Security
• Network and infrastructure security
• Experience in stakeholder and project management at various organizational levels
• Structured and solution-oriented approach with strong implementation skills
• Experience in creating project plans, status reports, and management presentations
• Fluent German and English skills
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, CISSP, CISM, or comparable qualifications
• Experience in regulated industries or security-critical environments
• Knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, DORA, or comparable governance and compliance requirements
• Start: possible at short notice
• Duration: initially 3 months with an option to extend
