Job description
Experienced IT Site Manager needed for a hybrid role in Saxony, responsible for reliable IT operations and user support, including infrastructure administration, security, and external service provider management.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Site Manager for a location in Saxony in a hybrid model. In this role, you will be responsible for reliable IT operations and professional user support at your location.
Your tasks include the administration and continuous development of the IT infrastructure, including network, servers, clients, as well as cloud and SaaS solutions. You will handle the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software, as well as end devices. An important focus is on user and authorization management, as well as IT-related onboarding and offboarding.
Furthermore, you will implement IT security measures such as patch, backup, and endpoint management, and maintain IT documentation and asset management. You will manage external IT service providers and work closely with internal departments. Support for production-related IT systems and processes is also part of your responsibilities.
For this position, you bring several years of professional experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, or IT support. You have sound knowledge in network, server, client, and cloud environments, as well as practical experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune. Knowledge of network security, VPNs, VLANs, and IT security standards is required.
Experience with ERP, MES, or comparable business applications is an advantage. You are characterized by strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of service orientation. Ideally, you bring experience from the automotive, aerospace, defense, or high-tech industry. Very good German and good English skills are necessary.
