Job Description

As a ServiceNow Technical Consultant, you will develop new functionalities or adapt existing functionalities for the Service Management Platform ServiceNow used within JIVC. You will do this based on the functional description in the stories that you pick up and realize independently. In addition, you will actively contribute to the technical adaptation and refinement of stories. Where necessary, you will draw up test scenarios or support them. You will actively monitor the technical coherence of the different stories and functionalities and, where necessary, ask questions and identify deviations.

You are capable of explaining and demonstrating the functionality you have realized during demos and reviews where necessary.

Background of the assignment

Due to the increasing need for ServiceNow functionality within and outside JIVC, the continuation of the ServiceNow DevOps team is necessary.

Requirements

Candidate has at least 2 years of demonstrable work experience with ServiceNow in a complex environment/Government.

Candidate has at least 5 years of demonstrable work experience in a complex IT environment/Government.

Candidate has at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience working in Agile teams.

Candidate has at least 5 years of demonstrable work experience at HBO level.

Candidate possesses at least the following certificates: Agile Foundation, SAFe, ITIL v3, Scrum.

Candidate has demonstrable broad knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and has supported at least 3 years of implementations.

Candidate has a valid ServiceNow System Administration certificate (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD) certificate, and Certified Implementation Specialist - Field Service Management (CIS-FSM) certificate.

Candidate has established two or more integrations between the ServiceNow platform and other information systems for at least three of the following focus areas: CMDB, JIRA, LDAP, DevOps, HR, and/or ITSM.

We are looking for a senior specialist with thorough CMDB and CSDM knowledge. (the entire team revolves around these knowledge areas)

With architectural knowledge to be able to think/talk about the architecture substantively.

Thorough knowledge of Element Managers and Integrations.

Wishes

Candidate preferably has experience in four or more of the following ServiceNow focus areas: ITSM, SPM, FSM, EC, HR, Asset Management, Agile, CSDM, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, UI Builder, PA and reporting.

Additional Information

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain and Principal Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid).

The purpose of the 'WKA' is to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities. The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is established in the Netherlands or abroad. You can request the G-account from the Tax Authorities.

If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement on the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances. Please note that the costs for this statement are at your own expense.
