Keil Business Solutions GmbH is an innovative Google Reseller and IT service provider.

For a customer project, we are looking for a

Senior Java Web Backend Developer - Spring Boot, Spring Data, Oauth2/Keycloak, Kubernetes – 100% remote

Our client has been developing client-server and fat-client applications based on Java and Swing for many years.

The data storage is based on a relational database (Oracle).

The architecture underlying the software, as well as essential system components, are partly more than 15 years old and therefore no longer meet the technical standard.

Therefore, our client is currently undertaking the new and further development of their software based on modern (web) client-server architecture for both the intranet and extranet.

The new software systems are based on Spring Boot and Angular and are built and finally executed in on-premise-hosted Kubernetes environments via automated build systems.

Responsibilities

Participation in an agile software development team for the realization of WEB applications based on Spring Boot and Angular (Kubernetes on-premise).

The developer sought here has WEB backend development as their focus.

Skills:

• Experience with Java 17 (or higher) (> 5 years)
• Experience with Spring Boot (> 5 years)
• Experience with Spring Data JPA + Transactions
• Experience with Spring Data JDBC + Transactions
• Experience with Spring Security (Oauth2, Keycloak)
• Experience with Hibernate/ Liquibase
• Experience with REST (JSON, Hateoas, API Design)
• Experience with SQL (Oracle, MySQL, H2)
• Experience with Messaging (Rabbitmq)
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Kubernetes/ Helm
• Experience with ELK/ OpenSearch
• Experience with IntelliJ
• Experience with Git
• Experience with Unit Testing (Junit, Mockito)
• Experience with Spring Boot Test Slices
• Experience with Jira / Confluence
• Advantageous: Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, JasperReports, XML, Grafana/Prometheus/AlertManager, Unix/ Shell, Gradle, Architecture Conception, Test Driven Development.
