Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Responsibilities

• Planning, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery
• Automated deployment and configuration of applications in a modern microservice architecture
• Utilization of Kubernetes according to the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principle
• Integration of monitoring and logging solutions (Grafana Stack with Loki and Prometheus) to ensure performance and availability
• Testing and operation of infrastructure components as well as management of stateful and stateless workloads
• Close collaboration with DevOps, development, and testing teams as well as external service providers
• Support in ensuring IT operations and security requirements, especially to relieve the DevOps teams
• Documentation, knowledge transfer, and active co-design of the system architecture

• Sound knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Practical experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (incl. Helm Charts), GitLab CI/CD, Terraform
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud-native architectures
• Know-how in monitoring & logging with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki
• Ability to manage stateful & stateless workloads in Kubernetes
• Experience in testing, operation, and performance analysis of production systems
• Analytical thinking, high personal responsibility, and a structured work style
