For an exciting IT project in the insurance environment, we are looking for an experienced Java Developer with profound expertise in backend and microservice development. The focus is on the development and implementation of various microservices based on modern Java technologies.

Language Requirements

• Conception, development, and implementation of microservices based on Java 17 and Spring Boot
• Development and further development of scalable backend applications
• Connection and integration of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Execution and management of database migrations with Flyway
• Automation of build and deployment processes with Maven or Gradle and GitLab CI/CD
• Containerization and deployment of applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Management of source code and version statuses with Git
• Use of Sonatype Nexus for managing software artifacts
• Ensuring high code quality as well as a maintainable software architecture
• Several years of profound professional experience in professional Java development
• Expert knowledge in Java 17 and Spring Boot
• Extensive practical experience in the development and implementation of microservices
• Very good knowledge in database connection with PostgreSQL
• Experience with database migrations using Flyway
• Confident handling of Maven and/or Gradle
• Profound knowledge in GitLab CI/CD as well as Git
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge in handling Sonatype Nexus
• German: Fluent
• English: Advanced knowledge
