Java Developer/DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) eBanking / Client Channels/100%/ ZH

Project:

For an existing DevOps team in the Client Channels / eBanking area, we are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to actively shape the further development and operation of customer-oriented digital services. Start date 01.11.2026 at 100% in Zurich for 24 months. The core of the position is the combination of hands-on Java software development, responsibility for productive operation, and DevOps support.

Responsibilities

• Conception and implementation of features and functional requirements in complex eBanking services
• Development of Java-based backend and full-stack solutions
• Further development of web applications with Angular
• Ensuring the stable operation of the developed services as well as taking over Production Support and DevOps tasks
• Analysis and resolution of production problems and technical malfunctions
• Participation in the creation and further development of solution architectures
• Support with deployments and the technical further development of development and operating processes
• Contribution of new technical and methodological impulses to the further development of the services
• Collaboration in a self-organized, interdisciplinary DevOps team

• Several years of in-depth experience in professional Java software development
• Very good knowledge of Spring, JEE, and JPA
• Experience with Angular, ideally within the last five years
• Good knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL
• Experience with the development and operation of internet-facing services
• Experience with Production Support or DevOps responsibility
• Experience with customer-oriented digital services or client channels in the banking/financial sector is an advantage
• Experience in complex backend architectures and interest in solution architecture
• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Very good German language skills at C2 level
• Independent, team-oriented, and responsible way of working
• Confident demeanor and strong communication skills
• German: C2
• English: nice to have
