Java Developer | DWP Programme | BPSS Required | £350pd | Remote with Quarterly Newcastle Travel
Java Developer required for a long-term DWP programme.
We are seeking a developer with strong Java and JavaScript experience to join an established delivery team working on a large-scale public sector project. This role is predominantly remote, with travel to Newcastle required once per quarter for 2-3 days.

- Strong commercial experience with Java
- Experience with JavaScript
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- BPSS clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working on DWP programmes
- Public sector or government project experience
- Experience with modern Java frameworks and microservices architectures
- Start Date: 24th November
- Rate: Up to £350 per day
- Location: Remote with quarterly travel to Newcastle (2-3 days)
- Duration: Contract
- Clearance: BPSS Required
