Our client is looking for an experienced Java Developer who is also accustomed to taking the lead. (Reference number: 925357RF)

Responsibilities

• As Lead Developer, you will shape the implementation of requirements together with the team and ensure the high quality of the software through clean code, sustainable architectural principles, and targeted test coverage.
• You will design and optimize the system solution for end-to-end test automation in complex software architectures.
• You will lead the development of critical software components, systems, and functions to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
• You will take on a mentoring role for colleagues, pass on technical know-how, and shape the further development of the team.
• You will contribute suggestions for technological advancement and tooling and actively decide on architectural and technology issues.

Role: Java Developer – Spring / Angular / Test Automation

• At least 10 years of experience in agile software development with Java and Angular.
• Experience in leading and mentoring developers and in passing on technical know-how within teams.
• Completed higher education or further training in Computer Science (HF, FH, Uni/ETH).
• Sound experience in developing test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium, Playwright).
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture and test automation of web UIs, mobile apps, and APIs is an advantage.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as in the development, analysis, and troubleshooting of large, decentralized systems.
• Very good German and good English skills.
