Java DevOps Engineer/Hibernate/JPA/Java/Spring Boot/Azure/100%/ZH

Project:

For an agile DevOps team in a SAFe environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior Java DevOps Engineer to develop and operate a new platform for digital onboarding and the digital opening of bank products.

You will develop new services, extend existing applications, and ensure their stable and secure operation. You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Engineers, and Software Architecture, actively contributing your ideas to the technical design and further development of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Development, extension, and operation of self-developed services based on Java and modern backend technologies
• Ensuring the quality and security of the developed solutions, taking into account internal and external security standards
• Continuous optimization and further development of operational processes
• Participation in the conception and technical design of new and existing services
• Advising the business department on technical feasibility and possible solution variants
• Close collaboration with Product Owners, Business Engineers, and Architecture to develop optimal solutions
• Active participation in an agile DevOps team

• Several years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and relational databases
• Good knowledge of Azure, Kubernetes, and Helm, as well as experience in DevOps operations and continuous service improvement
• Knowledge of Angular and TypeScript, as well as experience in agile teams (SAFe is an advantage)
• Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working, as well as good communication skills in exchanges with technical and business stakeholders
• Advantageous: Kotlin, PostgreSQL, HTML5/CSS3, as well as experience with software architecture and security standards
• German: C1
• English: B2
