Mission Context

As part of strengthening a team specialized in fraud and payment applications, a major player in the banking sector is looking for an experienced designer-developer Java.

The mission takes place in a critical application environment, combining development of new features, corrective maintenance, and preparation for production releases. The consultant will work on topics related in particular to transaction security and the evolution of fraud management processes.

• design application and technical solutions;
• carry out development in Java and Spring Boot;
• contribute to the design of microservices and API architectures;
• analyze the impact of change requests;
• produce estimates and technical costing;
• participate in sprint reviews and follow-up committees;
• contribute to the operational maintenance of applications;
• perform unit, integration, and acceptance testing;
• define the testing strategy and validation plan;
• prepare the necessary elements for deployment and production release;
• write application, technical, and security documentation;
• contribute to the preparation of startup roadmaps.

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Java development or design;
• very good command of Java and Spring Boot;
• experience with microservices architectures and APIs;
• practice with Docker and Kubernetes;
• mastery of a build tool such as Maven;
• experience with testing using JUnit and/or Cucumber;
• knowledge of at least one application server: WebSphere, Tomcat, or JBoss;
• experience with production and deployment environments;
• knowledge of Agile methods, particularly Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe;
• practice with Jira and Confluence;
• ability to produce structured technical documentation;
• ease in communication with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners;
• experience in the banking, payments, or fraud sector is a plus.
