Java / Python Developer – Generative & Agentic AI (M/F)

Project overview

Context Depending on profile Within the IT department of a large social and asset protection group, the team is strengthening its capabilities to integrate generative artificial intelligence into its business applications. Consultants will join the team to design and develop backend services in Java and Python, and integrate generative AI components and AI agents capable of automating business tasks.

Main missions

Profile sought

Java and/or Python backend developer who has already integrated generative AI into an application, ideally in production. Initial experience with AI agents is a real plus.

Work environment

Major insurance client in the Loire region, agile team. Partial remote work: 3 days on-site / 2 days remote. Start T1 2027, innovative AI projects.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Java and/or Python
• Integrate language models (LLMs) into business applications via their APIs
• Implement RAG solutions so that AI responds based on internal documents and data
• Design and develop AI agents capable of chaining tasks and calling internal tools or systems
• Optimize instructions given to models (prompt engineering) and control the quality of responses
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of data handled by AI
• Write tests and technical documentation
• Work using agile methodology with business, data, and architecture teams
