Do you want to further develop your initial experience in support or application operations and work more with Linux, Kubernetes, and production applications? In this position, you will support the stable operation of various business applications in a demanding public sector environment.

• Remote Portion: 99%

• Environment: Regulated IT environment / Public Sector

Responsibilities

• Support in operational application operations
• Handling of incidents in 2nd-level support
• Analysis and evaluation of log files
• Monitoring of production systems using monitoring tools
• Support with installation, configuration, maintenance, and updates of the following applications:
• Governikus Suite
• Governikus Multimessenger
• Governikus Data Sign
• Governikus Safe ID Manager
• Support with the operation of web frontends with Apache HTTPd
• Participation in Linux and Windows system operations
• Support with deployments and maintenance work
• Analysis of simple SQL queries and data states
• Support with batch and processing jobs
• Creation and adaptation of shell scripts
• Participation in the operation of containerized applications under Kubernetes
• Documentation of incidents and operational procedures

Requirements

Advantageous

• Initial experience in 2nd-level support or application operations
• Knowledge of Linux, ideally RHEL
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Initial experience with Kubernetes or other container technologies
• Knowledge of Apache HTTPd is an advantage
• Experience with monitoring and log file analysis
• Initial experience in shell scripting
• Experience with ticket systems such as Jira or ServiceNow
• Very good German language skills at C2 level
• Experience in regulated IT environments
• Knowledge in the public sector or government environment
• Basic ITIL knowledge
