Seeking a junior technical management advisor for a dike reinforcement project, focusing on technical investigations, data analysis, and design support.
Project overview
As part of the Mastenbroek-IJssel dike reinforcement project within the High Water Protection Program:
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Conducting technical investigations into the strength of flood defenses
- Collecting and analyzing data on flood defenses
- Supporting design activities for dike reinforcement
- Contributing to the preparation of execution, such as construction techniques, emission-free construction, and relocating cables and pipelines
- Gaining insight into the entire process, from field research and technical analysis to design, decision-making, and reporting
- Contributing to knowledge development and innovation within the Engineering & Technical Management department
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable field of study
- Interest in water safety, dikes, and infrastructure
- Collaborative attitude and strong communication skills
- Experience with GIS, Deltares software, or hydrological models is a plus
- Work experience of approximately three years maximum
- Analytical and curious
