Our client in the Banking and Finance sector is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer focused on Mainframe M/F

Mission Description:

This mission is aimed at a developer or production engineer wishing to evolve in a DevOps environment and gradually discover the specifics of Mainframe. We are looking for a curious, dynamic, and proactive person, capable of bringing energy, innovation, and new ideas to the team's projects.

Your missions

Within the CI/CD Mainframe team, you will notably participate in:

Profile sought

You have 2 to 3 years of experience as a developer, production engineer, or in a DevOps-oriented role.

You ideally have:

Mastery of complex Mainframe tools is not essential. The main thing is to have the desire to discover this environment and quickly build skills.

We are looking above all for a motivated, curious, proactive person capable of bringing dynamism to the team.

Essential Skills / Qualities:

devops, CI/CD, Gitlab

• Contributing to development projects around GitLab and DevOps tools.
• Improving and industrializing CI/CD pipelines.
• Implementing and optimizing development and deployment practices.
• Participating in the evolution projects of the Mainframe environment.
• Collaborating with development, production, and operations teams.
• Monitoring and proposing innovative solutions to improve existing processes.
• Initial experience with GitLab and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment.
• An aptitude for automation, industrialization, and process improvement.
• Notions of the Mainframe environment, notably:
• Mainframe architecture and environments;
• Batch processing scheduling;
• Principles of Mainframe system operation.
