For our client, we are looking for a Junior IT Compliance & Governance Manager to support the IT organization in the areas of governance, compliance, data protection, and information security. We are looking for a structured and organizationally strong personality to assist in the further development of IT governance processes and the maintenance of relevant documentation and evidence.

Responsibilities

Requirements Profile

• Support in the establishment, maintenance, further development, and implementation of IT compliance and governance structures
• Maintenance, updating, and structured documentation of policies, guidelines, procedural instructions, evidence, as well as measure and status overviews
• Participation in the organization and administration of data protection management and information security management (ISMS)
• Support in the preparation, accompaniment, and follow-up of internal controls, reviews, audits, and maturity assessments in the IT environment
• Tracking of deadlines, measures, controls, and identified optimization potentials
• Participation in contract, license, and service management
• Support in IT project management, especially in deadline tracking, task coordination, documentation, and status communication
• Coordination of various stakeholders and ensuring comprehensible project documentation

Requirements

Compensation Package

• Completed vocational training or degree with a focus on IT, business, law, administration, information security, or project management
• Initial practical experience or strong interest in IT compliance, governance, data protection, or information security
• Basic knowledge in the area of GDPR, IT compliance, or information security
• Structured, conscientious, and documentation-strong work approach
• Confident use of Microsoft Office 365
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Initial knowledge of ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, or internal control systems
• Experience with DMS, Wiki, or ticketing systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, or ServiceNow)
• Exposure to audit, risk, or compliance processes
• Experience in PMO or project management environment
• Basic understanding of license, contract, or service provider management
