Background of Assignment

The Satellite Ground Station (SGS) in Zoutkamp needs reinforcement with junior satcom administrators.

NOTE: This is a request for permanent employment.

• Providing back-office functionality;
• Supporting and instructing users;
• Managing applications and systems;
• Installing and configuring applications and systems;
• Proposing configurations and operational aspects of applications and making technical changes;
• Creating and maintaining user manuals;
• Identifying irregularities in system usage and resolving or having hardware failures resolved;
• Performing operational management tasks;
• Acting as an intermediary between users and automation experts/suppliers (information) security.
• Carrying out checks and inspections;
• Performing specialized technical repair and maintenance work;
• Maintenance and (having) resolving failures of third-party services;
• Investigating and handling (failure) notifications and complaints;
• Identifying anomalies and proposing adjustments;
• Creating (parts of) maintenance plans, for which (technical) designs, drawings, specifications, etc. are created;
• Informing users about the use of equipment and (technical) installations;
• Maintaining records of (handled) failures.
• Issuing and administratively booking resources;

Hybrid: Working from home max 1 day per week.

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we need information from you as the contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid).

The purpose of the 'WKA' is to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client.

We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account.

This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is established in the Netherlands or abroad.

You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities.

If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to submit an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) quarterly.

In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.

• Candidate has experience with support/customer management/servicedesk work/support employee.
• Candidate has affinity with technology (ICT or radio technology).
• Candidate is proficient in Dutch.

• Candidate has completed an MBO (vocational) education (direction: electronics, mechatronics, ICT, or network management).
