Siemens Energy is seeking a Designer for Tools and Fixtures in Berlin, starting December 1, 2026, for a contract role until September 30, 2027, with potential for extension. The role involves designing and developing tools and fixtures according to technical requirements and standards.

Responsibilities
- Design of tools and fixtures, considering technical requirements and specific operating conditions
- Creation of drawings and parts lists in the design stage as a basis for further technical elaboration
- Dimensioning, design, and calculation of tools and fixtures in accordance with the requirements of relevant norms, guidelines, and regulations
- Verification of designs for compliance with standards and ensuring adherence to applicable technical standards
- Creation of adaptation designs for the implementation of customer-specific requirements and technical changes
- Development and elaboration of special designs for individual technical problem statements
- Coordination of design solutions with the involved specialist departments and ensuring implementation according to requirements
Requirements
- Completed degree (Bachelor/Master) in Mechanical Engineering or further training as a state-certified technician with the relevant specialization
- More than three years of professional experience in design, ideally in tool and fixture construction
- Profound knowledge in 3D design and experience in creating technical drawings and parts lists
- Good knowledge in the application of CREO
- Confident use of MS Office and ideally basic SAP knowledge
- Good knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations, especially DIN standards
- Understanding of technical requirements as well as standard-compliant design and dimensioning of constructions
- Strong team and communication skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Willingness to work 100% on-site in Berlin
