Design Engineer Mechanics and Electromechanics

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced design engineer for the development of mechanical and electromechanical modules in precision engineering. In this role, you will conceptualize and dimension complex assemblies and ensure that functionality, manufacturability, and regulatory and economic requirements are met.

Your tasks include translating system specifications into mechanical requirements, coordinating with R&D functions, and being responsible for the mechanical design of modules and their interfaces. You will work closely with internal and external partners and review compliance with relevant standards and regulations in mechanical engineering. Furthermore, you will manage technical data such as bills of materials and master data in appropriate systems and create technical documentation.

For design, you will use CAD software such as Creo. You have completed studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or precision engineering and have sound experience in the mechanical design of complex production or measuring equipment. Knowledge of vacuum technology and dynamically stressed components is required. Proficient user skills in SAP and CAD design, especially Creo, are assumed. Experience with technical documentation and data management systems is necessary. English language skills are required, German language skills are an advantage.

Experience with electron microscopy or semiconductor technology is desirable.

The position offers flexible working with remote work options.
