KS2 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Daily & Long-Term Supply

Are you a dedicated educator passionate about making a difference in the classroom? We are looking for motivated KS2 Learning Support Assistants to join our supply pool. Whether you enjoy the variety of day-to-day assignments or prefer the stability of long-term placements, we have opportunities that match your professional goals.

In this role, you will be the bridge between students and their academic potential, working in vibrant Key Stage 2 environments to ensure every child has the support they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to students, tailoring your approach to meet individual learning needs.
• Assist the class teacher with the implementation of lesson plans and classroom management.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Support pupils with additional educational needs (SEN) to help them engage with the curriculum.
• Adapt quickly to new school environments and follow school-specific policies effectively.
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff.

Requirements

What do we offer?

BTEC certificate in children,CACHE level 1 or 2,CACHE level 2 or 3

• Experience working within a primary school setting, specifically Key Stage 2.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, staff, and parents.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (or equivalent practical experience).
• A valid DBS check or willingness to complete one.
